All is well with me, all thing considered .This is my toughest week of the year. The week I go to graves.
loss was a large part of my weight gain.I might know and learned about weight but you never unlearn what you have done in the past.Too bad we just can't delete those thing from our programs.
Hope everyone is doing well-Fran

I have 1.8 miles to walk tomorrow to hit my goal of walking 30 for the month. I'm excited about that! And I think I lost my five pounds I had hoped for. What I don't like is that this past week I walked 15 of those miles, and lost four of those pounds. I didn't want to miss my goals so I worked really hard. That means I'm a lazy girl for most of the month and I am expecting less of myself than what I could give, and what I could achieve. I'm not sure what I think about that yet.

Hi Fran I think we learn from our past mistakes and how we grow from loss. But I understand what you mean about hitting the delete button. There are memories I would like to delete too. But I find that they have less of an impact on me now.
Best,
Kathy

Hi Denydenial - it does help to spread out the exercise over a daily or 6 days/week spread. This helps up reduce risk of injury as well as simply being good for the body. Technically, we need at least 3x/week to keep the muscles going and supported so that might be an incentive?
But I would also say, give yourself kudos when you stay on food plan and not just see it as "I didn't do my exercise."
You can lose weight without exercise, however, it is just a healthier plan to include it and get in the habit of it for health and long term weight maintenance.
Best,
Kathy

Hi Fran - sigh! I can't seem to open my Fitbit to replace the dead battery. I don't understand why - Susan said hers came with an opener but I don't remember seeing one. Until I have time to deal with it, I don't have a FitBit. Boo!!!
Have a wonderful holiday, Fran. Hope you are doing well.
Best,
Kathy

I have 2 more pounds to loose, but I'm afraid of regaining. How do I start maintaining without constantly writing everything down

For me,after maintaining for three years I cannot maintain without logging each and everyday. With stats that state between 80-90% regain weight lost there is no other way. I have watched many people try. To me it is like a chronic disease and I treated that way. Unfortunately I log on another site due to my fitbit as they do it for free but I LOVE this site and still grieve over having to change. Good luck-Fran
