Tracking Cholesterol Meds Topic

Hi. Love the app, and have two recommendations for enhancements.
- Would it be possible to include in the medicine tracker other common medicines (like cholesterol) or to have a separate section for this? I’d like to track, for example, my cholesterol med and doctor recommended calcium supplements. I’d prefer to label them or highlight them as meds and not food.
- A report/function that allows you to track nutrients by themselves will be very helpful for certain medical conditions. For example, knowing the daily calcium consumption (food versus supplements), daily target, etc. will be useful for osteopenia and osteoporosis. Presumably listing every possible nutrient might be too much, but how about if the report section allow you to write-in a nutrient for the app to bring back the last 7-days consumption.
Thanks for your consideration.

Hello U1189183158,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know you love the MyNetDiary app and to offer your recommendations! I am happy to inform you that the two features you are recommending actually exist with a Premium subscription!
You can go into the settings into the "Customize Dashboard" section and make sure "Track your medications" and "vitamins and supplements" are added as active items. When you click on the medication section, you can easily go into "current medications" and select "track new medication". You simply list the Medication name and units and can even add notes to that section such as when or why you started it. Once it is set up and on your dashboard, you can then easily track the medication. There are endless number of medications and brand names out there so MyNetDiary cannot offer a list of all of them but the app makes it easy for you to add your own. In the vitamins and supplements section, once you enter a specific one, it will come up on your recent vitamins list. There are helpful tips and hints when setting up your tracker but if you run into a snag, please reach out to our awesome support team at support@mynetdiary.com for assistance.
We are also happy to inform you that you can track individual nutrients in the food section. In the advanced app settings, you can select and deselect specific nutrients you want to track. There are up to 50 nutrients now available for tracking. If you select weekly analysis as an option, you will receive a weekly report of your intake (as long as you are actively tracking at least 3 days). You will find that the reports offer recommendations for modifying your diet to better meet your targets, including lists of foods that contain that specific nutrient!
I hope you find these features are what you are looking for! Please let us know how you are doing and always reach out to support@mynetdiary.com if you need technical assistance.
Thanks and have a healthy day! Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
