So back in November 2019 my weight started to go up. I took a look back at what foods i was eating at that time, pretty much the same as now, but less carbs now. I was eating on average 150-200carbs back November 2019, and when my weight started to go up doctor said to cut the carbs, which i did. now i've gained all of my 20 pounds back...I've been working from home since march, but i'm up walking around and exercise after work just about everyday. but weight just keeps going up...
I did go see my doctor this past week, got blood work done. i'm healthy as horse minus my high pressure which i take medicine for. and i've been on the same medicine for that for a while, so that didn't change. my birth control didn't change either but my weight is up...with my blood work, all my numbers are down from last year, sugar, sodium, cholesterol all down. So i got that under control but my weight keeps going up...
I'm just so frustrated and mad...none of my clothes fit, my work issue shirts don't fit (so i i hope i don't have to go back anytime soon) i mean i busted my butt to lose my weight and just with snap it's all back...

Hi U1188001324- Thanks for reaching out~
Weight regain can be incredibly frustrating, I hear you!
In your situation, it sounds like you followed your doctor's advice and it didn't work- which can also be maddening. The good news is you are healthy minus the high blood pressure. Pat yourself on the back. That is awesome news!
I hear you saying you are diligently tracking and eating a healthy diet and are perplexed as to what is contributing to the gain? It sounds like when you were eating 150-200g of carbohydrate per day this worked for you from a weight-loss standpoint. Perhaps you were eating more dietary fiber (which helps to keep us full on fewer calories) and more produce such as fresh fruits and veggies. Might you return to this type of eating? You may be someone who needs to eat this way to lose weight (which by the way 150-200g/day is not a lot of carbs). Here are a few articles to provide some guidance.
Hang in there! You've got this.
Are you still weighing your food and accurately tracking: https://www.mynetdiary.com/why-am-i-not-losing-weight.html
Are you unconsciously skipping meals? https://www.mynetdiary.com/tips-for-losing-weight.html
Some habits like poor sleep can contribute to wt gain: https://www.mynetdiary.com/what-behaviors-are-making-you-gain-weight-most.html

Thank you! It’s maddening I’m just trying to focus on the fact that I got my numbers down. I will go back and see how much fiber etc I was eating.

I have a lot of trouble keeping weight off and figured out I have to do do aerobics daily along with walking and a good diet. It’s not fair how some people get a more laid back approach and others have to work and think harder. Good luck friend
