Meno Weight Hard To Lose Topic


Hi I’m 57 and looking for other women in the same boat as me. I’ve been a gym goer for over 30 years working out with weights and cardio and kept my weight down. Once Covid hit the gym was harder to get access to and I just was ready to give it a break and hitting menopause the weight gain especially in the stomach came what seemed like overnight! I either walk or do weights at home. I eat 1200-1400 calories of healthy foods (most days) and nothing is budging the weight.
Would love to hear how other women are losing with menopause and find supportive members to lean on and encourage one another. Thanks! Ren

I am in the same boat. I go to the gym 5 times a week and sometimes I’ll do 2 classes to include total body conditioning, Zumba, yoga, and sometimes I’ll do a spin class and yet I am still gaining weight. I just joined two programs through Kaiser in hopes they can guide me. ~Elizabeth
