Lost 22.2lbs. So Far (Bowflex 6wk Diet Plan) Topic


This is my first post in this community...

So far I've lost 22.2lbs. on the Bowflex diet & exercise plan. It's basically a 60/20/20 diet (carbs/fat/protein) and you start off with 1500cal/day and reduce them by 100 every 2 weeks. You workout using the Bowflex 3 times/week, doing only about 20 minutes of exercises. So yeah...even I can do that! I feel it's the best one for me to lose weight fast and get into shape.

I have the old Bowflex Power Pro which included a 6 week diet plan that I've done in the past. In fact, I bought it over 20 years ago and the most weight I lost in 6 weeks was 26lbs. back then but that was when I was 20 years younger - lol! I've done this diet a few times since then but this last 6 weeks is my 2nd best when I lost 19.2lbs. in 6 weeks. I definitely would have lost more but I cheated several times, more than I'd like to admit (i.e., pizza, burgers, fries, etc.) but not consistently.

I feel that logging all my food using the MyNetDiary app is why I had more success for these last 6 weeks verses 5 years ago when I did this diet but didn't have the app. I REALLY LOVE THIS APP...it seems they've thought of everything and it's VERY intuitive! One thing I need to do is post a question in another forum about how to deal with a wrong label using the barcode...

When it comes to the barcode scanner simply use the "photo food service (send a picture of the barcode and nutrition facts to MyNetDiary and we enter it into the database)" feature to report an incorrect barcode to the MyNetDiary support team. Here I go again! When I don’t log every bite, I eat too often, put butter on everything and keep premium ice cream in the freezer. I like this app. So easy!
