hi all-
im starting to put 45-50 min exercise per day, where I burn around 250 calories.
im on a 1200 calorie diet, + >60 grams of protein.
on the days I exercise, is it okay to keep 1200 calorie diet + 60 grams of protein or do I need to change this?
im trying to loose 20 pounds (cw: 155)
I just started today- so hopefully can keep this going for the entire month. so tired of where I'm at right now.
thanks in advance!

i think the general rule is to not eat back the calories you burned but 1200 seems quite restrictive (i know this depends on your height and gender etc), maybe just increase your calories in general

Hi Dede123- Strong work on your commitment to planned activity!
It sounds like your weight loss is off to a great start. In general, we suggest not eating back the calories burned through activity. However, if you find you are overly hungry after workouts, then perhaps add back in a small snack. Here's some info on learning the signs and signals of hunger: https://www.mynetdiary.com/how-to-tell-if-you-are-hungry.html
