Been using the app for 5 weeks now and learning a lot. My goal is to get from 128.3 kg to 90 kg usung the app and back in the gym. I think that is about 282 lbs to 198. I weigh myself on a sunday morning, but lost 18 lbs in first month. Im ex mil so pretty good at the training side, but the app has been the difference due to the ability to calorie watch. Im bad at knowing what to eat, but getting there.

Welcome, GazCampbell! You might want to look at the other forums and post there for more interaction & support. This thread is in Weight Maintenance and it doesn't get much traffic.

And yet I believe maintenance is the key.. we all loose one way or the other, since we're here, but then how many of us maintain it ?!

The maintainer’s are out there! I have used MND for almost 4 years. Lost 60 lbs in the first 1 1/2 years and have maintained since then...and still log my food. I had that weight on for about 17 years - it took MND and an attitude of taking one day at a time to get rid of it. Since my natural tendency is to overspend on calories, tracking just needs to be a permanent habit for me!

Hi Drinkmorewater- Thank you for chiming in! There is often so much attention given to weight loss and yet maintaining a weight loss is where the true dedication comes in. Your story is very inspiring! Keep it up! Joanna (Dietician)
