Hi I'm new to this apps. I'm looking anyone who loves Asian cuisine especially taiwan china Malaysia Singapore and so on. It's hard for me to find out the asia's food calories here . I'm living at Malaysia that's the reason I have more Chinese food more than western food .

Hi Rachelrachieem, that could be a challenge. Do the food packages have nutrition information on them? You can send Support@mynetdiary.com a request to enter those food items at least. Restaurant and food cart foods will be trickier. Most of our members are based in the US so the food database is heavily focused on typical foods here. You could try searching brand restaurants like Pei Wei, PF Chang, and Panda Express, but I doubt those restaurants use recipes that are traditional (my guess is that they will be higher in calories, fat, carbs, and sodium).
Does anyone have any recs for various asian cousines - a separate database maybe?

You could check the myfitnesspal database as it's much bigger than this one. Then just create your custom item here based on the data from the Myfitnesspal food entry.

Hi Folks, when you use nutrient data from other trackers, be sure to check for accuracy. Myfitnesspal does have a lot of entries, but many of those are entered by other users and are not validated for accuracy. In MyNetDiary, you can identify member-entered ("contributed") and choose to hide or view those food items in your Settings. In Myfitnesspal, I can't see a way to identify which items were entered by who and if they were checked for accuracy. The voting for accuracy works okay if that is available.
Best,
Kathy
