Hi guys, first week here. I lost 3.2 pounds from Monday- Sunday. Feels good to be back on track. Just confused as to why my calorie budget went up ? Help

That's amazing Jennn
Do you have the auto pilot setting turned on? When losing to fast or slower.. the daily calorie budget can adjust to eat more or less calories to balance the calories budget and stay on course reaching the set goal weight at the desired deficit plan.

Hi there Jenn-
Welcome to MyNetDiary!
Wings Of Hope has nailed it. The app uses a robust mathematical calculation to ensure you reach your weight loss goal on time, though not too fast. Enabling the auto-pilot feature will adjust your calorie budget as your weight shifts. When you are losing faster than predicted the app bumps up your calories. Here's some additional info you might find interesting.

I just started too. Probably not a great idea for me to start over a holiday, so I’m restarting now.

Hey ^ I ate whatever I wanted but stayed within my calorie deficit. I realized pushing my meals later helped. So instead of waking up and eating I held out an hour or two longer .. so on and so on

Ya! I try to stay away from bread, too many grains and sweets, as well as empty calories! This is a big one because u can gain a lot more calories when u don’t need to. For example: u want oatmeal. U add oats, milk, and… HOLD ON! Just by adding milk u r increasing ur calorie count by 120 calories! That is insane and totally unnecessary. Instead, try adding water! It will help u eat less calories in a day. By adding water, since it has no calories or nutrients, it will give you the same taste and result as milk would, but the effect it has on your body will be more positive!
