I gained the extra weight after a death in the family in 2019, followed by the pandemic. So all my clothes are “thin” clothes. I made up my mind to go shop for some nice plus size clothing, because I feel way worse about my “now” body if I’m running around in my husband’s tee shirts and spandex all the time. Got fitted for a bra too. I’m gonna like my “now” body even if I am trying to lose weight. Just sharing in case anyone else can relate!

I gave birth 3 months ago and I’ve never felt this huge. I’ve started healthy habits like walking for 30 mins a day and drinking plenty of water. I started on Nov 7th and today I’ve lost 6 kilos. I’m quite happy with my progress and I’m eating a range of foods. However some of my clothes are quite large and my bras do not fit so I’m living in nursing bras. Until I measure myself.

Hi there U1193627870-Congrats on your new baby!
What a busy and exciting time in your life~
You have lost weight quickly in the last month. Are you eating regular meals? Are you meeting your protein needs each day?
Remember to be gentle with yourself. Weight loss ebbs and flows after giving birth. Social media puts a lot of pressure on women to get back to flat abs and their pre-baby weight as quickly as possible.
Your daily water intake and walking are awesome habits to continue!
