                        4 medium, about 2.5" diameter Apples with skin raw
                    
                 
                
                
                    
                    
                        2 tablespoon Lemon juice raw
                    
                 
                
                
                    
                    
                        1/4 cup Flour whole wheat pastry
                    
                 
                
                
                    
                    
                        1/4 cup Flour white all purpose
                    
                 
                
                
                    
                    
                        1/2 cup unpacked Brown sugar

                    - Preheat oven to 375F.
 
                    
                    - Core and slice apples and place into a 9 inch pie pan.
 
                    
                    - Sprinkle lemon juice over apples.
 
                    
                    - Mix flours, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Cut butter into mixture.
 
                    
                    - Spread flour mixture over the apples. Bake for 30 minutes or until apples are soft when pierced with a fork.
 
                    
                    - Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.  Enjoy!
 
                    
                
                Tips:
6 medium apples will make about 4 cups sliced.
