New Member to the Group Topic


Hello to everyone. My name is Angela. This is my first time posting. I am 42 and just getting back on the wagon. Although I am well versed in the mechanics of food and working out, I am at the highest weight I have ever weighed. I feel irritated that I worked so hard (in the past) to have a great shape and now it is non-existent. But at the same time, I am confident about my ability to get back in shape. I have come here to get and give support. Today is my first day back in the gym and back on my eating regime. I wish for your continued success in your journey to heath and wellness. Wish me well.


Good luck.....starting over at 48 and 60 lbs too many. I do well with food diaries, but with two kids, crazy job, too much stress, etc. find it difficult to start or maintain activities. Looking, hopefully to find some groups, partners for this purpose in Northern VA.


I am 47 and have put on a stubborn 5 lbs. that I can't seem to get rid of. I was great at tracking my food and fell off the tracking wagon. I work out consistently and think I eat right but need to tighten up! I am a busy working mom of two kids 14 and 10 with a husband who works 12-14 hours a day! Looking for support and encouregment and hoping to give it back!


I know exactly how you feel. I am fighting the same five pounds. They just won't come off no matter what I do. I have had them off before, so I know that it is possible. I walk and walk and walk....I watch everything that I eat. I know that we can do this. We are smart, motivated women.


I am with you! What do you feel hinders you? I think I eat right for weeks with little progress and then u get frustrated and over do it!


Hello, I am a new member to this group. I am 49 so I guess that still means that I am a 40 something. I am currently in training for the Camp Pendleton Mud Run and working to lose weight at the same time. How is this program working for everyone?

Hello everyone,
this is my first attempt at MyNetDiary...I have done Weight Watchers in the past and had great success. I am 43 and desperately need to lose 30 pounds. I went back to Weight Watchers and did not have the same success so I thought I would give this a try. I 'know' what I should do; but like so many who have posted I am a working mom of 3 girls (14,11 and 9) and a husband that works 12 hour shifts. I have so little time to take care of myself. I am ready - I had a pretty scary health report in November that really made me realize how much I had been neglecting myself. I am looking forward to working with a supportive group.
