This is was so cool! I went shopping with my mother at BJs Wholesale club, where we shop a lot, and everybody just about knows us there, Anyways about 5 or 6 people commented about my weight!!!! So incredibly exciting to hear finally, one person said, "my god you lost so much weight" and I never ever talked to her before, stuff like this is a TRUE enthusiasm to keep on trucking and losing my last 25lbs....

Hi Shiznik, One thing that happens with me when I eat more than usual is that my sodium intake is also a lot higher...which means I wake up a few lbs just from water retention. I can tell when it is bad because I can't get my ring on! :) When I start a day like that, I go for protein/veggies and watch the sodium...it helps get me back on track pretty quickly.
Glad you are doing well. Best, Kathy (Dietitian)

Hey Kathie! I certainly understand what you are talking about, however, I am not married, and I don't have a way of testing with my ring not fitting, hehehehe! Seriously, thanks much for the advice! Today I am 224.5, very happy that I am heading down once again, one thing for sure is, if you are on a journey for losing weight, the most important thing is to understand that you are going to go up in weight at times, and down in weight at times, if you understand that, then you will never get off of your journey to lose the rest of your weight. Because I hate to say this, but most people, when they experience there weight going up, that is usually what makes them get off of their diet or new eating plan, In all reality, I guess you have to mess up a ton of times, over and over, until eventually you get it right! Never give up, and never stop trying to get ahead, in whatever you are trying to achieve!

That is such a great attitude, Shiznik! And I agree with you 100%. I also see people give up way too early, not understanding the normal ups and downs of body weight. The weight will trend down if we create enough of a calories deficit over time, but we will always have day to day fluctuations (as well as changes by time in the day). Even if folks weigh themselves 1x/week, they could see this type of up & down.
Have a great weekend! :) Kathy

Thanks much Kathy! It has taken a very, very long time to finally fine the "Ohm" in all of this....as a Chinese Guru would say..... The key is to never give up, that is why most always fail, because they don't believe in themselves. It really is very strange when you find the meaning of life, right in front of you, but you never could see it, All of this learning, it all comes together for losing weight, and how to live your life in the best way possible! Always love being able to chat with you, thanks for all of your help, because believe me, you do play a part in keeping me motivated to continue the journey!!!!
