List of highest rated foods? Topic

Whenever I log in a food item, I can see how it rates (A+, C-, etc,) but I'm wondering if there's a list of highest rated foods?
It would be nice to plan a meal based around something I find on the A+ list.

I'd theorize that your A+ foods are going to be non starchy veggies and minimally processed whole grains. One very interesting website I've found is the Eat To Beat site ... Certain foods have been scientifically proven to reduce the risk of cancer. The ones the site lists are the usual suspects, but they have some great recipes.
I like to try to pair as many of those foods together in a super-healthy meal. Tonight, for instance, we had homemade burrito bowls -- black beans, brown rice, mushrooms, cilantro, garlic, cumin, peppers, onions and garlic-- plus kale chips.
I've started a "what's for dinner?" thread under food and recipes in hopes that more people will join in and share their menus. Please feel free to chime in!

Hi Cyndi, the Food Score/Grade is really just a tool to help select foods based only on nutrients listed on the nutrition label (U.S.). You can read more about it here: http://www.mynetdiary.com/food-score.html
I mention this because there are many great foods that don't have a high Food Score (e.g. plant oils).
