Jacobshaner, yes you should poop every day or else you will cause problems inside your intestines and stomach. I deal with the same problem and I don’t go #2 regularly and then I went to the doctor to find out I had 1-2 weeks of poop
Inside me. It’s really bad to not go, and also you should have small soft poops. Drink water and take some meds (with doctors permission) and it will help you go easier. Hope this helps you!

I have diverticulitis and am an official kidney stone thrower so, besides not eating seeds nuts berries or corn, I also have to focus on low oxilate foods. My gut is diagnosed as “gastritis” and I take both my morning and bedtime pills with water soluble fiber. In the morning, I use stool softeners along with Colin cleanse. At night, it is Colon cleanse with Pepcid. The colon cleanse contains senna. I also use mirolax every morning and a probiotic. Drinking kumbacha helps, too. And drink that water!!

Hi Mamadeaux, check to see if the soluble fiber supplement you are taking interacts with your specific type of morning and bedtime pills. Some medications have reduced absorption when taken along with soluble fiber. But if you have already worked this out with out with your health care provider team, then don't worry about it.

Hi U1195437219,
Yes, when you don't eat as much with fasting, you won't create as much waste to eliminate. Keep drinking plenty of water. Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
