Rather than cutting it out completely how about you start by cutting down instead? Also to help not give in don't have those tempting items in your house.

Cutting to fit into your daily calories is an excellent suggestion. Personally, I have no control over what comes into my home and I imagine other people are in similar situations. Perhaps you could request that certain types of food be kept out of sight and in a cupboard ? In addition, I find that baking my own desserts to have daily during the week keeps me on track, and other desserts don't seem as appealing. Brownies are my weakness!

Weight watchers makes a peanut butter brownie bliss bite. It's 90 calories and I can usually make it last 3 bites to fulfill my need for chocolate. Does not taste diet-like at all! I get these from BJ's wholesale club.

I also cut a banana in half add peanut butter and a drizzle, yes drizzle of Hershey's choc syrup. It fills me and I get my choc fix!

Find a picture of the body you want. Use that as some inspiration and stay away from the kitchen/food when you aren't truly hungry.
