If I weigh myself and the scale hasn’t changed should I still log it in once a week or once a month?

It's perfectly normal to have fluctuations in your weight or weeks where you don't see a change. Keep logging your food daily and be brutally honest about what you are eating.
Keep logging weight weekly for another month and if you still are not seeing the results you want, speak with the dietician to get advice.

Hi there Dangerkitty-
We at MyNetDiary suggest weighing and recording the number in the app once a week, even if there isn't a change. For more guidance on how often to weigh, you might enjoy Sue's blog post: https://www.mynetdiary.com/how-often-to-weigh-yourself.html

Hi . I personally feel that most people hate recording their weight when you have stayed the same or gained , but, I think it has real value . I have been on a calorie deficit diet since Sept. 1 2020 . And being able to look back at your good and not so good weeks helps you see , if you need to tweak something . And you have your notes telling you that . Push yourself to keep track of your great weeks and not great weeks , you'll be glad you did . But , for sure good weeks are always more fun , aren't they !

I agree. Weigh once a week just so you know. There are times where you don't lose weight, but that is okay. I can look back and see a weight increase, but at the time, I realize there may be a reason for it. Like going on vacation and eating whatever you want, drinking, having large deserts, etc... It is okay, at least I think it is okay, to live your life how you need to live it. That may mean under normal circumstances you are eating a 40 calorie fudgecicle for a desert after dinner; but when out on the town or vacation; that creme brulee is too hard to pass up. :-)
