I’m new here and I’ve struggled with my body for so long, as it dramatically fluctuates for me. I’m trying to lose 20lbs in 3 months ideally, but it’s really hard to stay motivated. Any tips??

20 lbs in 3 months is definitely possible. Your best option is to start with a 500 calorie deficit. Work out your Basal Metabolic Rate, and subtract 500 kcal from that. And there you have your required daily energy intake. As long as you follow that you should hit your goal no problems

I have just work out my daily intake and it’s 762. How can an active person survive on that running a house , shopping and walking the dog?

The basal metabolic rate is the calories you need to survive at rest. Going lower literally starves your body if you do anything but sleep. It‘s dangerous.
You have to subtract not from the BMR but from your calorie intake that would normally maintain your weight and not go below the BMR!
