Hi! As someone who formerly ate only about 400 calories a day and has started increasing their caloric intake to about 700-800 calories a day, eats around 100g carbs, 50g protein, and 25g of fat a day, exercises for about 60-120 min a day, and has been overall eating a more balanced diet, is it normal to want to eat more/feel hungrier? I constantly ignored my hunger pangs and only ate about one/two meals a day with not much snacking in between, so this new feeling seems strange.

Hi Kapp'n,
Yes, it is very normal to want to eat more and to feel hungry on your very low-calorie intake. I hope you are under medical supervision for your low-calorie diet so that they can help monitor your health while you are losing. We want you to take care of your health. Brenda (MyNetDiary Dietitian)
